LinkedIn and Networking Kit: Profile, Outreach and Follow-up
Get found, get referred, get called back: a LinkedIn profile recruiters can find, messages to the right people, the right follow-up after an interview and a clear answer to a job offer.
Really tested. The prompts were tested with Claude Sonnet 5.5 on realistic cases and refined after testing. Below is the untouched result of the final test on October 23, 2026.
What's in the kit
- A profile with the keywords of the role you want, headline and About section
- Connection notes and messages that ask for one small thing
- Thank-you, follow-up and rejection replies after an interview
- Offer summary, questions to ask and a realistic counteroffer

The test case (fictional people and companies)
Maya Chen (invented) has been a UX designer at a small agency for two years, mostly with healthcare clients. She wants to ask a former bootcamp classmate, now a Senior Product Designer at Brightleaf Health (invented), whether the company is hiring junior designers next year. They did a group project together in 2022, haven't talked since, and both moved into design from teaching.
What the AI answered
A quick note first: asking "are you hiring juniors next year?" is a bit big for someone you haven't spoken to since 2022, mostly because they may not know the answer or may not be allowed to share it. I've kept it as the main question, but made it easy to answer in one line. If you'd like a smaller first ask, use this one instead: "Would you be open to a 15-minute chat about what Brightleaf looks for in junior designers?" Swap it in for the question in message 2.
1. Connection request note (about 170 characters)
Hi [Name], we were in the same UX bootcamp cohort in 2022 and did our final project together. I'd love to reconnect, especially as we both moved into design from teaching.
2. Message after they accept (74 words)
Thanks for connecting, [Name]! It's been a while since our bootcamp project. Since then I've been a UX designer at a small agency for two years, mostly on healthcare clients. I'm thinking about my next step and I'm curious about Brightleaf. Do you know if the design team expects to hire junior designers next year? A one-line answer is plenty, and no worries at all if you can't say. Hope you're doing well.
3. Follow-up after a week (38 words)
Hi [Name], just a quick nudge on my note above. No pressure at all if the timing isn't right or you can't say. Even a quick pointer on where Brightleaf posts its openings would help. Thanks either way!
