Tailored Job Application Kit
From your résumé to an application written for that specific job post: job post analysis, an ATS friendly tailored résumé, a cover letter and a mock interview.
Really tested. The prompts were tested with Claude Sonnet 5.5 on realistic cases and refined after testing. Below is the untouched result of the final test on October 21, 2026.
What's in the kit
- 4 prompts in sequence: job post analysis, tailored résumé, cover letter, mock interview
- A table showing how well your résumé matches each requirement
- Short cover letter version for LinkedIn and online forms
- Final checks so the AI never makes things up
Preview of the first prompt
I'm pasting a job posting. Analyze it the way an experienced recruiter would. Job posting: """ [paste the full job posting] """ Give me: 1. The 5 most important requirements, in order of weight, separating "must-have" from "nice-to-have". 2. The keywords an applicant tracking system (ATS) is likely to look for in a resume. 3. The company's tone (formal, young, technical...) and what it seems to value. 4. Two questions I could ask the recruiter to understand the role better. Don't write anything about my resume yet.

The test case (fictional people and companies)
Tom Hadley, a warehouse coordinator at a food distributor in Ohio, applies for a Logistics Analyst job at Harbor & Pine Distribution (invented posting: Excel inventory analysis, SQL and carrier cost tracking are must-haves; WMS and Lean are nice-to-have). After running Prompt 1 he pasted his resume, chose "United States", and gave two results with the "How I achieved each result" field.
What the AI answered
A) Tailored resume

- Use pivot tables and VLOOKUP to track inventory and shipments.
Shipping Clerk, Delmar Packaging, June 2016 to February 2020
- Prepared bills of lading and entered shipments in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Education and skills
Associate degree in Business, 2016. Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). WMS user.
B) Requirements check
| Posting requirement | Where I show it | Strength |
|---|---|---|
| Inventory analysis in Excel (must-have) | Error log, pivot tables, VLOOKUP | high |
| Carrier cost tracking (must-have) | $2,800 weekly overtime reduction | medium |
| SQL (must-have) | Nothing in the resume | weak |
| WMS (nice-to-have) | WMS data entry at Delmar | medium |
| Lean (nice-to-have) | Not shown | weak |
C) Weak points
SQL is a must-have you do not cover, so I did not stretch the resume to fit it. Say honestly that you work with data in Excel and are learning SQL, but only if that is true. Your carrier work shows cost tracking, but it is about overtime, not full carrier rates: be ready to explain the difference.
